Jessica Simpson: I’m Gonna Be a Mummy

Hollywood news just won’t stop repeating what everyone seemed to already know. Jessica Simpson is pregnant and while she chose to keep the secret till Halloween, we were all pretty suspicious because of the changes her body has undergone recently. Even though there were rumors of her being a mom-to-be, Hollywood news were silent on that matter until earlier today. There are still some questions about Ms. Simpson’s pregnancy as the date on which the baby is due or of what sex it is going to be but Jessica and her fiancĂ© Eric Johnson obviously won’t shed more light on these matters for now.
Jessica Simpson decided to share the not-oh-so-surprising Hollywood news with her fans on Tweeter, posting a tweet saying: ‘Announcement! It’s true – I’m going to be a mummy!’. And to be even more convincing, she has posted on her official website a picture of her, wrapped in bandages and looking like a future mommy mummy with her already pretty rounded belly she’s gently supporting with her hands. So yet again Hollywood gossip turned into real Hollywood news – the 31-year old actress and singer is going to have her first child.

A New Movie by Lars Von Trier

Lars von Trier seems unable to escape the movie news with any of his new films. Usually, he’s known for his provocative stories shot in a shocking way that boarders with explicit sadism. This time, however, the latest movie news is not that shocking – his latest movie, ‘Melancholy’ actually seems nice to women – something we didn’t think the Danish director was capable of.
It tells the story of a woman who has just got married who anticipates the collision of a planet a lot bigger than the Earth with our own and that breaks her world apart. Given the fact that the sadistic scenes are limited, it’s no wonder that movie news predict great interest in that film by both critics and audience. However, Lars von Trier couldn’t stay away of trouble even if he wanted to, as movie news reveal that the Norwegian extremist, responsible for the events in Oslo in July has outlined ‘Dogville’ as his favorite movie. While von Tries has basically no fault for that, he made it to the news once again and this will inevitably raise the interest in his movies again. This comes to confirm the saying that there’s no such thing as bad publicity.

Nominees for the british independent movie awards

Latest English movie news features the list of nominees for the British Independent Movie Awards that was published just now. There are little surprises in it being led by the provocative film ‘Shame’ by Michael Fassbender and Carey Mulligan. The movie was awarded a NC-17 rating because of the vivid sex scenes it contains but this has not prevented the critics from outlining it as one of the best films for this year, according to the English movie news.
The other movies with nominations in a variety of categories and, hence, favorites for this years’ awards, are ‘Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy’ and ‘Tyrannosaur’. The three above-mentioned films have a total of 7 nominations altogether but English movie news makes a point in paying enough attention to some other films that might turn out to be a surprise when the time for awards comes: ‘Senna’ and ‘We Need to Talk About Kevin’. The competition for best actor is between Brendan Gleeson, Neil Maskell, Michael Fassbender, Gary Oldman and Peter Mullan, while the best actress is to be decided among Rebecca Hall, Mia Wasikowska, MyAnna Buring, Olivia Colman and Tilda Swinton. The awards will make it to the fron of the English movie news on the 4thDecember.
