News reports and rumors have been saying that Anushka Sharma has been getting a little too close to Shahid Kapoor. Sharma denies the rumors, although she was originally quiet on the topic. Kapoor originally expressed his anger publicly over the reports, and Sharma now confirms the rumors are false. She says she wants to be in love, but has not yet found the right person to fall in love with yet. Her busy schedule prevents her from meeting very many people and forming any kind of relationship with them, but she is keeping her options open. Anushka was previously involved with Ranveer Singh, but the relationship ended some time ago. Both have admitted that the relationship was quite difficult in some ways and that it was an unhealthy situation for both of them. Anushka commented that it is difficult for her to go out with male friends, because people immediately assume they are paired up.

Music Review : Feist-Metals

It has been a while since I heard Feist do a song. Therefore when I heard about her new album, Metals, I rushed online to have it. There is a rawer edge to this album, as Feist leans less to disco-ish production in favor of a more throwback rock and roll sound. The Metals begin with an outstanding one-two punch which keeps you on your toes. The pace slows most of the rest of the album, but there’s no letdown in quality. There’s a unique blend of ancient, intimate and cutting character. This artist has released other songs like It’s Cool to Love Your Family has not lost any sincerity. When you listen to Bittersweet Melodies, you can resist the temptation of yearning along with her. Honestly, the Metals eclipse other previous heights of the artist for music review. The song really beats other similar songs hands down. Feist has mastered her composer and churns out her words in an attractive melody. The producer of this song has definitely done a good job. I can promise you that you won’t waste any second. Go check it out and listen and you will appreciate that Feist has really grown as a musician. I would rate this song as 7/10.

Suriya’s 7am Arivu Vs Vijay’s Velayudham

At the box office also, where Vijay’s Velayudham will compete with Suriya’s 7aum Arivu. The actors seem to have arisen a lot since Vasanth’s NerukkuNer, Suriya’s Dravidian unveiling that had him and Vijay in main roles. A few yearsback, the two cameunitedly in the Friends(directed by Siddique) and now, are ‘equals’ at the theatres by most Kollywood pundits.

Interestingly, Udhayanidhi Stalin, the maker of Suriya’s movies, has expressed that he’d be watching the Vijay pic FDFS and that he’s “a big fan of the Ilayathalapathy.” And, Kollywood actor Suriya’s director A R Murugadoss is expected to produce with Vijay in his upcoming movie! We must have an insight into what the actors have done up till now.

The actor’s recent blockbuster was Tamil superhit Singam, which has proved its peers in Bollywood as a contender. After unscheduled appearances in films such as Ko, ManmadhanAmbu and Avan Ivan, his 7aum Arivu is keenly expected.

He likes to keep on his directors to make hit after hit again. While 7aum Arivu marks his comeback to his Ghajinidirector Murugadoss, Suriya’s currently employed with K V Anand (who did Ayan) and presently working with Hari (who did Singam). USP: Action of roles, mix of instruction and massfilms, stylish looks.

At the audio launch of 7aum Arivu, Master Shobi also revealed, that the “O Ringa” song is Suriyas launching song in the film, and Murugadoss desired it to appear new and interesting.

So, decision was to shoot in Ranganathan Street. The area is so jammed that twopeople can’t even walk side by side. But, was prefabricated Suriya, along with 500 separate dancers, shaking their legs to the dance sequence. Filming was done using concealed cameras.

The director’s Mankatha had the 2nd highest opening in K-town, second only to the Superstar’s Endhiran. Though actor Suriya has agreed in generality to do business with him, it looks like the film maker would wait for a time before the movie can actually go on the production floor. Surya’s 7aum Arivu is yet to release and he has to finish Hari’s movie before he starts Venkat Prabhu’s project.

Currently, Venkat Prabhu is off to Malaysia along with Premgi and friends for a holiday, maybe to celebrate the success of Mankatha and have a break after the Charan-Sonaepisode.

Suriya will be filming for over 26 days in Russia with the Maatraan team, which had arrived there a few days ago. Suriya supposed to be back in Chennai for Diwali, when 7aum Arivu releases.

Maatraan has Kajal Aggarwal performing the female lead. Bollywood’s Sachin Khedekar, who was fresh seen in Vikram’s DeivaThirumagal, is the villain.

Simon Cowell’s Remark on Howerd Stern Starring on America’s Got Talent

There has been some Hollywood Gossip going around reporting that the producers of America’s Got Talent show have approached radio superstar Howard Stern to take up the role of Piers Morgan. Piers has since bowed out of the gig so as to engage more in his new CNN show.

During the ‘The X Factor’ viewing party in the Hollywood Hills, Simon Cowell was questioned by MTV News. He dodged the questions about Stern being a replacement of Piers by saying that people will have to wait and see what’s in the offing. Stern was overheard telling his satellite-radio listeners that he had been shortlisted for a possible take-over for that popular gig. He said that there’s nothing better to do in this earth than being judge for a karaoke concert.

Stern said he would relinquish the chance to quit his radio show only if Fox could offer good bucks. It is after his radio announcement that “Idol” quelled the Hollywood Gossip by saying they haven’t even started searching for a new judge.

Stern quoted a high salary package of around $100 million which NBC is said not to be willing to offer. Nevertheless, a trusted source hints that NBC could move the competition to New York to enable stern take up both his previous role of radio host and being a judge.

Is Trisha Getting Married?

Rumors about her wedding continue coming out every so often, but Trisha has been averting the enquiry.

Only if a new word of mouth is anything to go by, the actor is completely determined to get committed to a Chennai-based entrepreneur, Amruth, following month.

Evidently, Trisha’s mother, Uma Krishnan, has been hunting for a suitable bridegroom for her girl for rather some time now. But Trisha, who did not prefer to opt for an arranged wedding continued blackballing the proposals of marriage.

Just now, Trisha appears to have altered her judgement. The duo has been spotted at restaurants in Madras. As Trisha held a party for her acquaintances of late, Amruth was spotted at the venue.

Director Vijay has got arranged what a lot of other people have been attempting to do for long. Yup, he’s got Uma Krishnan, mother of the smart Trisha, to share screen place with her in an advertisement flick!

Kollywood Actress Trisha’s mom, Uma Krishnan, is rather thrilled about having acted with her daughter.

Music Review: Sing Off-Songs of the Season

Just as we are preparing to usher in the holiday seasons, a brand new song has been released. Sing Off: Songs of the Season comes offers a contemporary acapella version of the Christmas songs. It’s interesting to note the emphasis placed on the voices and on harmony along on these music review songs. I consider the first two songs i.e. All I Want for Christmas is you and Santa Baby as the weakest. This is because they do not have rich harmonies and innovative arrangements like other Christmas songs. Christmas Time is here is a lovely, jazzy version of the classic from A Charlie Brown Christmas but is not new one. This cannot be said of other Christmas songs like Coventry Carol. While preserving the haunting quality of the lyrics, this version gives an urban touch to the song along with an amazing layering of voices, almost fooling the ears into believing there are instruments there. This is an amazing, breathtaking exercise in voices as orchestra. These songs have that personal touch that makes you unknowingly sing along and enjoy the tune. I have listened to a couple of songs and I can tell you, there are worth listening to. I would rate them at 8/10 just because they lure me into listening for more of them.

The Rum Diary Movie Review

For those familiar with the legend of Hunter S. Thompson, you will realize that the Rum Diary is a true reflection of it. . This movie is written by Bruce Robinson from the novel by Hunter S. Thompson. In this movie, Johnny Depp takes up the on screen role of Thompson with ease which can make many people admire him. He acts as Paul Kemp who coincidentally is an aspiring novelist who is assigned work in Puerto Rico. As days go by, he teams up with Sala and powerful American businessman named Sanderson. It’s due to this partnership that he finds himself being absorbed into living a wealthy lifestyle which but finds himself absorbed in as much rum as his own Neighborhood. A clear movie reviews on the Rum Diary movie reveals that its cast is top notch. All the actors in the movie are people with a lot of acting experience between them. Also the supporting players make it look more attractive and entertaining. A simple movie review would describe the Rum diary as a pretty-low proof move. It has only a handful of funny moments and quite a few wild ones. It is a kind of money that should definitely have used more of weirdness but fails the test. I could rate this movie at 8/10.

A LOOK AT HOMESCHOOLONG AND THE GOOD IT HAS TO OFFER

It’s been great having you spend valuable time to read this essential piece, by which my opinion on homeschooling is shared. Unfortunately, the so called modern era has witnessed a lot of unhealthy competition in the educational realm. Could you believe a student committing suicide in the name of the pressure that is encountered at school? This is no news, because, I definitely know you are aware of the increasing rate of suicide. When is this going to end? There are a whole lot of bullies here and there; rioters are scattered all over our educational campuses; and worse of all, you come across incidents where students are bold enough to pull out guns and shoot fellow students. In fact, some parents are disappointed in the formal schooling system, and due to all the numerous ill effects associated with formal education, they have begun thinking of themselves as better than the so-called school teacher. They are of the view that they can teach their children very well at home, thereby, cutting the risks of all the ill effects. Casting our eyes around, we find limited number of good schools, coupled with increasing number of students seeking admission. The competition for good carrier path even becomes intense at the tertiary level, where cut off grades are introduced during admission. An effective alternative I find for formal education is homeschooling. My point stems from the fact that homeschooling allows the child to pursue what he/she is good at, and does not expose him to the so-called competition for which there are only few winners. There are a whole lot of respectable personalities who have made it without formal education. I am definitely going to mention some prominent names to you, and I require you to tell whether the bearers of those names were ever recognized as great academicians at school. To start with, I will ask you to tell me the degree Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth holds. From which business school did Mr. Anil Agarwal graduate? Which school did Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore pass out from? What about Bill Gates and Albert Einstein? Were they great scholars at school? It’s high time we stopped putting our children under pressure. Let’s adopt homeschooling, a means by which the child’s interest can be known and hence, nurtured. With this approach, your child’s talent will be recognised, and all you have to do will be to encourage the child in that direction from childhood. This will definitely make your child excel better. With homeschooling, you can help develop your child’s interest into a passion and develop him/her into a better professional than a mediocre educated general citizen.

Using Movies to Improve Your English Language Speaking Skills in One Week or Less

Surely you have seen a lot of movies but have you taken notice of how some characters display an interesting way on how they speak or the version of English language they use? Movies lend themselves well to use by English language teachers and learners alike. Be it in VHS or DVD, select scenes and prepare the script in which the characters you wish to model speak. A practical sequence would be:

• Play the selected scene and dialogue.

• Rewind and replay.

• Mimic the character’s speech and dialogue.

• Repeat the mimicking process as much as you need for improvement.

• Try recording your voice at the same time you’re speaking.

• Practice multiple times for at least three to five days.

• On the last day of your mimicking practice session series, record yourself again.

Listen and compare your previous efforts from your latest recordings and take notice some considerable improvement. If possible, select another scene from the same movie with a dialogue from the same character and repeat the process. After quite some time you’ll be able to acquire greater ease and fluency in speaking. Take a second leap; look for other scenes and movie clips you can use and might as well have a practice partner. Try other films by looking it up on English movie news. A variety of English language speech models will help widen your range of listening comprehension and aid in harnessing your pronunciation of connected speech elements. Definitely not the first Blog, still another attempt

It would be wrong to tell this as my first blog, as i have started and dropped several blogs. Hopefully this blog will not be dropped as it is completely a entertainment related blog and i am just a silent director behind the scene. i would like to be a critic of all the movies i have got a chance to watch. So, lets cut the crap and start discussing about movies in the coming posts.
